Running a Google search and stopping at the first few results isn't always a sure bet. “Everyone should have the tools they need to find information they can trust. That’s why we’re building features to help you evaluate the information you see online while expanding the range of useful information you find,” Google explains in its blog post.
To achieve this, Google is announcing the philippines mobile database of five new tools to help you verify the information you find online.
An option to display the “pedigree” of sources
The first tool in Google's artillery is designed to help you more easily identify trusted sources. To do this, it has introduced a new button in all languages, represented by three small dots to the right of each search result, which displays the source site's identity card. With this module, called About this result, which has been available for some time in the French version, Google hopes that you will be able to better select the websites you want to trust.
