Lazarus
A tool similar to the previous one allows developing programs in ObjectPascal for the FreePascal compiler. It is a cross-platform development environment reminiscent of Delphi.


PascalABC.NET
This modification combines classic Pascal, basic Delphi functions and numerous native extensions based on the Microsoft.NET platform. The structure of this new generation language consists of classes (including generalized and universal), thailand rcs data interfaces, and reloadable operations. Other features include exception handling, lambda expression support, garbage collection and parallel programming tools.

PascalABC.NET is distinguished by the presence of strict typing and procedural (structured) development tools. The creator of the classic Pascal, Nikolaus Wirth, is convinced that a programming language should have a disciplinary function. Therefore, together with clear typing, any ambiguity of the syntax is reduced to a minimum, and the syntax itself is intuitive. This ensures the accessibility of the language for beginners.

Compared to Fortran, which was considered the main language among developers in the 1970s, Pascal has advanced far ahead. By the 1980s, as already mentioned, it became the basis for many academic programs and was simultaneously used to create other educational programming languages. An example is the so-called "educational algorithmic language" created by Andrey Ershov and used in school computer science classes.
