Inactive clients: remove from the database or keep?
It would seem that if a company has a large client base, then all that is needed for success is fast and professional processing of incoming applications.

However, it often happens that the database is extensive and the product is of high quality, but there are no repeat orders.

One of the most effective ways to change the situation is to use a CRM system. Yulia Pyankova, head of the CRM and integrations unit at Completo , told us what 5 steps will help turn a “silent” database into a source of new applications.

Step 1. Updating data
Before attempting to engage your existing audience, you need to verify the accuracy of contact information and weed out inactive clients.

How to do this?

Make sure that the contact information in your CRM system is up to date .

You can do this by using email newsletters, various surveys in chatbots, and calls from customer service specialists.

For example, you have a database of 10,000 email addresses. You can launch a reactivation chain of letters on them, which will solve two problems at once: it will show how many letters did not reach the recipients (the number of invalid emails), and identify those who are interested in your newsletters.

You can subsequently contact customers whose email address has changed (not the mailbox is full, but the specific email is invalid) by the existing phone number and update their data. If this does not bring results, then such addresses can be safely deleted from the database.
