Beware of the nulled version of WPML

Post by shaown »

To get a site that works as it should, you may need to greece phone number install more than a few plugins, but be careful with the nulled version.

Some people try to save money with WPML . But it is a practice that would be better to avoid. Let's see what happens specifically with the cracked version of WPML and more generally with unofficial plugins.

The idea that what is online and what is available online must necessarily be free is a somewhat sick concept. A concept that unfortunately, for example, is also the basis of many claims regarding generative artificial intelligence .

But long before big companies tried to get rich off the backs of those who don't read the terms of use, there was a very long tradition of cracked , unofficial products that could be found in various ways without even bothering the dark web.

Video games, software, TV series, movies and any other product of human ingenuity can turn into something copied and passed under the counter. Sometimes it is shared for free, other times there are even specific sites that are decidedly shady that resell programs and files at lower prices.

Even in the world of WordPress and sites built and customized through themes and plugins, you can come across what are called nulled versions. Nulled is the term that in the context of plugins replaces the more generic cracked, which is instead used for software normally.

On the official WPML website not long ago a post was published explaining the differences between the official WPML plugin and its nulled version. The post is obviously intended to dissuade anyone who wants to get their hands on a copy of this famous plugin for multilingual sites without paying.

And there is a paragraph with a graph that shows the differences between the official version and the nulled version. But what can actually happen if you give in to the temptation of wanting to have for free something that others pay to use?
