UGO is the first platform in Italy to introduce the figure of the "Personal Caregiver" to the market to the market in response to the increasingly urgent needs of an aging, chronically ill population that requires innovative services that support fragility. The platform, accessible from a browser or App, connects the user (30% are end users, 70% are their caregivers) with a selected and trained operator to provide extra-home support in activities related to health or daily life.

In the B2B sector, UGO currently works in synergy with companies in the health, pharmaceutical, insurance and welfare sectors. UGO received a pre-seed investment from three private business angels in 2015 and is preparing to close a new seed operation, with the goal of collecting the metrics necessary to pursue a new round by 2021.
