I registered on seven exchanges at once and started looking for tasks that suited my stack. Then I created a profile for our web studio and started looking for tasks for the whole team.

Upwork and Fiverr are the choices of our web studio. In addition to them, I tried malaysia rcs data We Work Remotely, Startupers, Authentic Jobs, Creative Market, and Freelancer. But only on Upwork and Fiverr did I manage to get at least some more or less adequate orders. Therefore, after about a month, I decided to focus exclusively on these two exchanges.
The portfolio rules. It is extremely important on exchanges, because it is the first thing a potential customer pays attention to. Especially for the English-speaking market, we created a page with the most interesting projects and provided a link to it in the profile. It worked, even with a zero rating on exchanges, potential clients contacted us.
Invest in paid promotion. Depending on the exchange, it costs from $5 to $20 per month, but it guarantees that a potential client will come across the agency's profile one of the first when searching for a performer.
Exchanges do not provide promotion statistics, but purely by feel, paid promotion boosts the number of calls by about half.
