They work so securely and so privately. We had something unusual happen to us in the US v. Google Department of Justice case last year, and we also saw the Yandex leak a while back, which I guess is the closest we’ve come to something like this in the past. .

There’s also a wealth of additional information here, which, to be honest, I haven’t even scratched the surface of yet and I don’t think we have as an industry. So a lot of credit should go to Mike King, Rand Fishkin, and a guy they worked with named Irfan, I believe, who brought this document to light.
