Perfecting your profile is a waste of time if you haven't activated a few options to ensure it is as visible as possible:
Set any profile visits you make to “Public” in your LinkedIn profile viewing options so people will be notified and may view your profile.
Step 1: Make sure your LinkedIn photo can be seen by people outside your network. LinkedIn profile photos are critical to building trust. It would be a shame if the people you send a connection request to with a LinkedIn Note didn't see it.
Step 2: Go to the LinkedIn profile photo editing option and set it to “Public” or “All LinkedIn members”.
Step 3: Make sure people can see your full name while searching or reviewing your profile. Go to LinkedIn's Full Name option and adjust your settings.
Step 4: Once everything is ready, do a final check using LinkedIn’s public profile preview feature.
