Where can I find my LinkedIn URL?

To find your current LinkedIn profile URL, go to your profile icon from the LinkedIn homepage and click “View Profile.”

Follow these step-by-step instructions to customize your LinkedIn URL.

In a web browser
In your browser, go to your personal profile page. To find your current URL page, go to “Edit Public board members email list Profile and URL” at the top right.


On mobile
From the LinkedIn app home page, click on your profile picture in the top left and then click “View Profile.”

At the top right you should see a pencil icon - tap on it and scroll to the bottom.

Click “Edit Contact Information” and then click the profile URL link.

The first block should be your profile URL with another small pencil icon to the right.

You can now edit your personal profile URL.

How to change your LinkedIn URL
Now that you are on the page that will allow you to edit your profile , at the top right click on “Edit your custom URL”.

You can now type in your new URL. It must be between 3 and 100 characters long, with only letters or numbers, and no spaces. Don't forget to click "Save"


If someone else already owns that URL, they will not be allowed to have it. We will also cover some tips below.

Professional Account (Company Page)
If you have control over your LinkedIn Premium Business Profile, you also have the option to create a custom URL for it.

Ideally, it should be something simple, like the name of the company.

Remember that a good URL should be easy to remember. If your brand is already well-known or you want it to be, choose something simple so people can find it.
