Wholesale turnover

The idea is to sell goods by one enterprise to another for their subsequent sale or for processing in the process of producing their own goods, as well as for use in ensuring this activity. Thus, in the course of wholesale turnover, goods do not reach the stage of personal consumption, remaining in the sphere of circulation or business consumption.

The most common classification of wholesale sales turnover is:

direction;

form of expression of the movement of goods.

The direction of trade turnover is in turn subdivided into:

wholesale turnover in the nurse database sales vector outside the system of enterprises and organizations;

wholesale sales turnover produced within the framework of one system.

Wholesale sales carried out outside the framework of the unified system are carried out outside its borders by enterprises engaged in the retail sale of goods, as well as public catering, supplies of various products to consumers outside the market, exported and by clearing.

Within the framework of such a structure, wholesale turnover is the production and sale by one organization on the order and according to the requirements of another for consumers within the market. It is typical for large enterprises that maneuver the received commodity resources.

To sum up, wholesale turnover can be defined as the direct sale of wholesale goods outside the system, while batch sales within it involve the movement of products from link to link in non-retail trade.

Gross trade turnover consists of the sum of two types of wholesale sales turnover.

According to the organization of the movement of goods, any type of non-retail turnover can be divided into:

consolidated in warehouses and other specialized storage areas;

transit or moving.

In the first case, the sale of goods takes place from warehouses or other premises where they are previously placed. In the second case, the sale takes place without the participation of these sites and without organizing storage space at an intermediate stage.

Transit wholesale turnover can also be divided into:

organized, which is carried out without monetary payments;

transit with financial settlements.

An organization can participate in the circulation of goods either as an intermediary, to whom the products are transferred only for their subsequent promotion and receipt of remuneration for this, or as an end consumer who has paid the cost of the product.

Wholesale sales turnover with participation in settlements consists of the sum of transit and warehouse sales turnover.
