15 tips for working effectively from home

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced most Croatian (and even global) companies to drastically change the way they do business. Working from home, a form of business that was debated until yesterday, has suddenly become the new normal.
Working from home can be a challenge, especially if you're used to commuting to your office every day. We often associate home with family, household chores, and free time, which makes it easy to lose focus and slip into activities that, frankly, are just wasting your time. So how can you be productive within those eight, nine, or whatever hours you have?
1. Get up at your normal time.

This connection is so strong in our brains that it’s actually much harder to focus on work when we’re wearing that type of clothing.
Of course, this doesn't mean you need to wear suits and ties while you're at home. Jeans, a dress shirt, or a polo shirt will be enough to get you into work mode.
