Case: Setting up targeted advertising for iPhone cases

A client came to us for advertising on Instagram with a fairly popular product on the market - tempered glass cases for iPhone. Below we will tell you how we received almost 200 applications in 2 months at a low cost per click.

A client came to us to run an Instagram ad with a fairly exploring amazon: the essentials popular product on the market - tempered glass cases for iPhones. But since the account was not run regularly, we came to the joint conclusion that it would be better to send potential clients from the ad to the website, which the business owner had previously purchased from us for 7,600 rubles.

Task from the client
Increase the number of sales and requests through the website.

What did you do?
First, we specified and segmented the target audience:

By location: separately - Russia; separately - Moscow and St. Petersburg.
By gender: men and women.
There were no age restrictions in order to cover the entire audience from 18 to 64 years old.
We set up displays for iPhone owners from model 6 to 11 Pro max.

Client offers
The client's well-developed USPs played a major role in the success of the advertising campaign. "All models in stock", "aluminum bumper + magnet + tempered glass on both sides", "price 990 rubles" - all these offers catch the target audience, which increases the chance of selling the product.

Launching a test campaign
In order to ensure that the offers work and the product is in demand on the market, we launched a test campaign.

Time : 2 days.

Costs : 3500 rubles.

Number of applications : 36 (!).

After 2 days of the test launch, the client turned off the ads. It took him time to process the received applications and purchase the goods for further sale. A few days later, the client writes that he is ready, and we turned on the ads (beginning of the main period).

Working on the target
We collected separate audiences by phone models and narrowed them down by the interest in “online shopping”.
We posted ads in the feed and Instagram stories.
Initially, we set a minimum budget, which was clearly not enough to display ads on a regular basis.
We used all possible Instagram ad formats: a post with a picture, a post with a video, a carousel. We created 2 text options for each format.
In each ad, we address the target audience, after which we describe the offer and the advantages of the store.
