What is Syntax?
Syntax is the specification for the actual markup. The syntax tells you what type of owner partner shareholder email lists structured data is being described, what the property values are, etc. Google supports the following three syntaxes:
Microdata
RDFa Lite
JSON-LD
There are three types of support, but the one recommended by Google is JSON-LD.
Microdata
Microdata is a syntax that can only be used in HTML5. It is used on many websites and is defined using HTML tags and attributes. However, it is important to note that the HTML code can easily become complicated, which can increase the cost of maintenance.
