Meet MobiliseSME, an exchange program for small and medium-sized enterprises

What is MobiliseSME?
Funded by the European Commission, MobiliseSME is the first mobility programme specifically designed for SMEs . It encourages international cooperation between European SMEs by supporting the exchange of employees and their secondment to SMEs in a European country.
In short, the aim of the programme is to exploit the full potential of the European single market , and one of its most valuable aspects, small and medium-sized enterprises, which represent 99% of EU companies, by enabling them to enjoy free worker mobility.

The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg , together with the Equipo Humano Foundation, hosted a webinar entitled "Advancing your business in the EU: internationalization and capacity building for SMEs" in which the MobiliseSME program was also presented . During the webinar, participants had the opportunity to learn about the opportunities offered by the MobiliseSME program, such as strengthening international cooperation, spreading knowledge and skills of SMEs.

This online event was attended by over 150 participants, including companies from different sectors, business associations, incubators, the general public and private entities representing European businesses. The event was also attended by local contact points (experts on mobility and doing business in the EU) and representatives of the two main branches for SMEs at EU level, the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion and the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs ( DG EMPL and DG GROW ).
Marta Templado, CEO of Turiarta and Claudio Cristofori, owner of J&K Jabalito & Karma Viaggi , shared their experience and success story resulting from their participation in the MobiliseSME program. Representatives of these companies, within the framework of the MobiliseSME program , had the opportunity to stay in Valencia and Bologna, all with the aim of designing new tourist routes, providing training in different languages and establishing new business connections and contacts. Thanks to the MobiliseSME program, their business cooperation has achieved great results.
