The Deming cycle performs many tasks, but the main one is continuous improvement of the quality of goods and services. If we consider production, product development can be carried out in 2 ways:

by introducing new functions and processes that make the product closer to the standard;

when correcting existing errors that interfere with interaction with the product.

By introducing many new features canada phone data without fixing the shortcomings, the manufacturer may still face consumer dissatisfaction. As Deming argues, one should focus not on the thirst for transformation, but on modernizing what is already in the arsenal. This principle applies not only to specific products, but also to business processes, as well as tasks in everyday life - the formation of useful habits, learning languages, and so on.

The Deming Cycle can also be used in current affairs if:

You can't reach your goal even though you've completed all the necessary tasks. For example, you want to lose weight, but you often skip workouts.

You've noticed that you've become less effective at completing tasks, but you don't know why. For example, you're studying English, but for some reason your performance in that subject has dropped.

You want to get used to something new (lead a healthy lifestyle), but don’t know how to achieve success.

You are approaching the end of some process and want to be sure of its outcome. For example, you have reached the final of a vocal competition and hope to win it.

Using the Deming method, you can approach everyday tasks more responsibly, control their implementation, see what prevents you from achieving your goal, and change your plan.

Planning
To begin, you need to:

set a goal, understand what needs to be changed in business and for what purpose;

find the reasons that prevent you from achieving your priority at the moment;

create a hypothesis;

draw up an action plan;

determine the metrics by which progress will be assessed (KPI).

Let's give an example. A company uses social networks to promote its services. But gradually such marketing loses its effectiveness: the flow of clients dries up, sales decrease. During the research, the company's employees understand that the consumer does not like the format in which the company is used to advertising its services.
