The literate citizens of America, to the libraries

I know this Gordon Press story is small potatoes compared to the untold horror stories routinely buried by press, government, Church and academia. But it is important to me because it has entered my world, destroyed my trust in America and made me fearful of a government that not so many years ago I was eager and proud to serve.
In 1994, I went to the Library of Congress and job function email list spoke with a senior reference librarian about Gordon Press. She had never heard of it. I presented her with a computer printout showing that it published more titles than Random House. She was surprised and very interested; she said that she would know about such a publisher of this size if it existed. The Books in Print CD ROM was not available in that section of the library so we had to work with the printed edition. I showed her entries under the name Henry Ford, where .

She said that she knew that the FBI did surveys of library users' reading habits, but that the library did not like having to co-operate in such studies.
