Microsoft has decided that improvements and redesigns of its Explorer web browser are no longer enough. So this fall, along with the new Windows 10 operating system, a browser will be released that they promise will be much more modern and minimalist, and will have voice recognition as a major novelty.
One of the big innovations for Microsoft will be the use of extensions, as in Chrome or Firefox. Another key idea of the project will be to unify interfaces, so that whether using a mobile phone, tablet or PC, a very similar format will be used. Finally, and as a competitive difference, the browser will allow you to take still photos of web pages in order to spain telegram data create notes or share them with friends.
Spartan is the name of the project, however it is not yet known what the final name of the web browser will be.
According to statcounter , Internet Explorer is the second most used PC web browser worldwide with an 18.9% market share in February 2015. However, 5 years ago, it had a 50.4% market share. Chrome, with 48.7% of the market in February 2015, has displaced Microsoft from the leadership. In fact, only Safari is the other web browser that has increased its market share in recent years, reaching 10.2%.
In Spain, Internet Explorer occupies the third position and has only 14.51% of a market led by Chrome with 52.65% and Firefox with 18.48% in February 2015.
Let's hope that Microsoft gets it right this time with its web browser and that it is not a simple facelift and name change. IE has a special weight in the history of the Internet, although it has never stood out for the functionality of its web browser.
