Transparency reason not to participate in ESM

One of the most touted benefits of ESM is the transparency it creates. Oddly enough, it is this same transparency that is one of the biggest barriers to participating in ESM. People fear potential repercussions for making an open contribution: 'This might not be helpful for my career.' Ensuring that people can post 'safely' and without repercussions seems like a good reason to allow anonymous posting: 'At least then things will really be exposed.'
Facilitate the people who put their money where their mouth is
I have never heard of people’s careers being negatively affected because they posted something mexico phone number list on the ESM platform that was open, honest and sometimes even controversial. I have seen multiple cases of careers being positively affected because of contributions on ESM. What is striking is that in those cases you always see that these people do not just say something. They are prepared to put their money where their mouth is. And that is what you want as an organization.
Tone of conversations significantly more cynical when posting anonymously
If you do let people post anonymously, it has been my experience that the tone of the conversation is considerably more critical and cynical. You don't have to take any responsibility for your words and you are not confronted with the consequences of your words. Don't give the shouters tools to shout away, but encourage people to put their money where their mouth is.
