If a customer reports our email as spam, you will find in Blendee, among the bounce reasons, complaints about articles. It is essential to keep your complaint rate under control to decrease the reputation that the Internet Service Provider has assigned to your sending IP address. For most service providers, the threshold is 0.1%, beyond which our reputation could be lowered. Some ISPs (Gmail) do not share this information but, in general, we can say that, if you have a complaint rate of 0.1%, not counting Gmail, it is time to take action to avoid losing your reputation. Among the activities you can do, we suggest:
Check how often you send emails: putting too much pressure on recipients can contribute to your complaint rate.
Make sure the content is relevant to your business
Isolate less receptive users: Some users who haven’t interacted with your romania cell phone number list emails in a long time may not remember that they are subscribed to your newsletter and report your emails as spam
3. The unsubscribe rate
As a general rule, the unsubscribe rate should be 1/10 of the click-through rate. An unsubscribe rate similar to a click-through rate is a sign that the recipient didn’t like it, or didn’t recognize your business.
4. The opening rate by ISP
Blendee offers the ability to view statistics broken down by ISP (Gmail, Hotmail, etc.). Each ISP may be more or less tolerant of sending statistics. If the data obtained from a particular provider is lower than the average of sendings, you will be able to understand what improvements you could make to the campaign to ensure that all recipients receive your email. Here are some of the main checks you can perform:
Text to image ratio: As a general rule, we recommend a distribution of 2/3 text and 1/3 images;
Email size: It is recommended not to exceed 50 KB of emails
Check your contact list: Keeping your recipient list clean by removing invalid addresses remains one of the main rules to follow.
