What is your 'Klout Score'

Anyone who doesn't keep an eye on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook every day probably scores low on the Klout Score meter . This site shows you with one click how active you are on social media channels and whether you are a 'feeder' or an 'influencer'. Kim Swagemakers (Kroes Kontrol) doesn't have to worry about that score, although she believes it can always be better.
But what about the conference attendees? During her workshops 'Twitter and LinkedIn for SMEs' and 'Monitor your social reputation', the visitors of the workshop were immediately subjected to a Social Media Check and personal profiles and LinkedIn company profiles were 'beamed' life-size. There is no escape and that is exactly Kim's message: 'Pay attention to what you do, everyone can see you.
Very confronting but also really fun, because Kim emphasizes the positive hungary phone number list points and explains how you can optimize your online reputation and that of your company. For example, there is a 'perfectly completed LinkedIn profile'. As a company, you can also get free feedback on your product or service and gain insight into your target group by monitoring your social media channels (for example with Social Media Check, Klout, Google Alert and Tweetdeck). How many followers or fans do you have? How often are you and/or your company mentioned in tweets? How many LinkedIn contacts do you have? It can all be found and invites a good analysis of your online reputation.
It makes sense that Kim also insists on a good social media policy when you enter the 'cloud' as a company. Because as politician Anthony Weiner personally experienced: a wrong tweet can change your life. Fortunately, there is now the app 'Last night never happened' with which you can quickly delete embarrassing tweets!
PPPPS
The Marketing RSLT Summerschool was definitely inspiring and made it clear that social media is a serious marketing tool that absolutely needs to be added to the P's. And while I'm writing this, LinkedIn invitations are pouring in from everyone I saw or spoke to in Maarsen (away with the business cards) and there is already so much tweeting about this conference that typing a piece in Word feels like writing a letter with pen and paper.
