Restricted lists
Finally, the service launches restricted lists: friends in this group can only see updates and photos of you if you share them 'publicly' (so not to 'friends only'). With each update, you can indicate which list or lists may see your status update. You can also set which lists may see certain parts of your own profile, such as work history, place of residence and specific preferences. A new page also shows a specific News overview of the updates of a certain list. In fact: when people use Twitter, they are generally big fans of social media. This group uses almost all sites more intensively than non-Twitter users. However, Twitter remains an outsider in the social network world. 80% of Europeans know the site, but only 16% use it. I call it the Twitter paradox.
