If you want to learn something about a subject, you can pick up a book or follow a training. But if you are an inventive entrepreneur, like Robert Gaal , you can of course transfer your knowledge in a more fun way. Namely via a startup walk: a tour along a large number of innovative Amsterdam startups in which you learn everything about setting up and financing your idea. I joined the walk last Monday with about ten other people. In this article I will tell you all about it.
The inventiveness of the startup walk is of course already in the concept itself. No belarus phone number list belarus phone number list boring afternoon sponsored by subsidies in a gray meeting room, but a nice walk with a group of young people through the city center of Amsterdam. Of course, the organization of such a walk already starts with a startup: Gidsy.com . On this website everyone can easily announce their own walk or event. A promising concept that others also believe in, because the company recently received a large financial injection. Gidsy takes care of the payment (in advance) and administration, so that you as an organizer can focus on what it is all about: the PR in your own network and holding the event itself. Gidsy.com has only just started, but already offers fun events in Berlin, New York and Amsterdam, among others.
The startup walk is simple in design: in a few hours we walk through the Amsterdam city center along 3 locations and we talk to a lot of owners and investors. They all share their tips and tricks and give you a look behind the scenes, which makes for a very inspiring day out in Amsterdam. Here are the 10 most important tips.
