Select the recording format for the microphone
Under Microphone Audio Format , you'll find a slider labeled Input Volume . Drag it to adjust the sensitivity of your microphone. If your microphone is too quiet, turn up the volume. If it's too loud or distorted, turn down the volume.

At the bottom of the microphone properties page, under Settings , you can also find an option called Audio Enhancements .
