Bottom trim

Installation of racks

The timber is placed with its long side along the ends of the greenhouse. The intermediate posts can be secured using a full or partial notch or also on corners.
Upper trim
The upper longitudinal strapping (pos. 6) is made from a 100x60 mm beam. Grooves are selected at the ends for fastening in half a tree for subsequent installation of transverse strapping. The beams are laid on the racks, adjusted according to the level, and connected with nails according to the drawing. The side walls are fastened together using temporary ties made of boards nailed to the upper strapping board - this way they will stand securely until the roof is secured. After installing the rafters, these boards are removed.
Installation of side braces
In the extreme sections of the side walls of the frame, braces (pos. 5) made of 100x60 mm timber are installed. The braces are marked in place, sawn, the cuts are treated with an antiseptic and fastened with nails, 2 pcs. for each joint. If the greenhouse lacks rigidity, braces can be installed in all sections. This will worsen the illumination of plants, but will increase the strength of the structure.
