Am I at Art Basel or at the Palais des Expositions at the press and poster exhibition in Cannes? Just from the building, you could imagine you were at an art exhibition: strict security checks at the entrance, a large building of dubious architecture and endless rooms with "pictures" on the dividing walls.
The exhibition confirms this impression. The posters and advertisements presented are almost without exception handcrafted works of art! Wonderful illustrations, brilliant paintings and pakistan rcs data magnificent photography predominate. In many cases, the artistic implementation takes precedence over the idea. The advertising message is often barely or only with difficulty recognizable. Since the advertisements and posters have been elevated to a higher level through the artistic implementation, this no longer seems necessary.

The suspicion that some works were created without a commission from the customer is also confirmed. However, I can recommend everyone to take a look at the wonderful art exhibition "Art Cannes"! It contains the best of contemporary painting and photography and finally proves Michael Schirner's quote: "Advertising is art". Or is this simply a clever way for advertisers to show art on advertisements and posters, since most advertising messages are spread in moving images and digital channels anyway.
