The worst way you can handle a conversation is to tell someone:
" Could you recommend us to someone?"
In theory, there's nothing wrong with that. In practice, however, even if a client says they'd be happy to do it, they won't sit around and think about who they should actually recommend your services to.
Of course, sometimes such issues come up spontaneously. Most often, when someone france rcs data directly asks our client what company they could recommend. And yet it doesn't necessarily have to be like that. Or the client may not have such conversations with their business network at all. So this is work that you should do yourself.
How to do it? I recommend the process that we use successfully in my company. To start, review:
contacts on LinkedIn,
contacts on social media,
friends list of the person you want to reach.
These days are perfect for this type of business stalking. You can do it on LinkedIn or Facebook – if your client is present in these channels and conducts some business communication there.
Next, think about who exactly you want to reach:
Check if these contacts include people who fit the profile of your ideal customer or the market segment you help.
Identify three to five people you would like to reach out to and contact.
Then present this list to your client.
