The more complicated the service, the greater the risk involved. Imagine that you are involved in implementing gamification in an organization, for example. And people will have a lot of questions and content-only elements that will interest them, in terms of:

what is gamification,
how much is it,
how it works,
how it is implemented.
So they may be at an early stage in the process, and just because they type that phrase into a search engine and land on your site doesn't mean they actually want to become your customer. Because a Google ad can very quickly convince someone to buy right then and there for a simpler service, but it doesn't necessarily work for more complicated ones.

That's just not how purchasing processes work, let's be honest. Especially in complex industries, in B2B and in services.
