Interviews with customers

Remember that the most reliable source of truthful and detailed information about the consumer is the consumer himself. Analyze the audience of your users and classify them into several segments, conduct detailed surveys with their representatives. Such work will bring excellent results - you will be able to understand the motives, goals, and also the main features of your target audience.

During the interview, clarify the client's age, place of residence and position, and discuss the following aspects:

lifestyle and habits;

plan of a typical day;

life values;

plans and dreams;

problems el salvador email list and ways to solve them;

family composition;

income level;

main expense items;

product search algorithms;

factors that encourage purchase;

fears and concerns when choosing a product;

the person making the final purchasing decision (for clients who have a family).

If your goal is to get full and detailed answers, try to avoid general questions. Use additional leading questions to clarify details.

Remember that an interview is not a quantitative, but a qualitative study. It will not give you statistical data, but it will allow you to form a detailed picture of the client and their needs. Do not try to conduct more than a hundred interviews. To create a marketing profile of a client from a separate segment, 7-15 surveys are enough.
