A: As I mentioned, being able to offer a service that meets the expectations of the clients is vital for our company in any segment of our business, including the one related to the digitalization of the payment processes.

In recent years, we have seen how the increase in digital payments and the convergence of new technologies in this sector have had a direct impact on Digital Customer Experience strategies, whether online or in-store. Ultimately, it is all about anticipating future consumer demands in order to always be on time, something that we at Mastercard have clearly defined in our business strategy.

In addition, contactless technology has also made it possible to speed up the payment process through a simple “touch” on the POS terminal to complete a transaction.

Digital Customer Experience strategies are embodied in these payment mechanisms that provide the opportunity for companies to meet the needs of consumers by eliminating the need to carry cash, queue in stores to pay, carry a wallet or remember the passwords required to make an online payment.
