Product information refers to information related to the product, such as specifications, specifications sheets, drawings, and prices, as well as information necessary for sales and marketing, such as catchy slogans, product descriptions, product images, image images, promotional videos, and instruction manuals.

Why managing product information is so hard
Multiple departments involved
In many cases, product information teacher database does not end within a single department within a company.

Information needed to create a product, such as specifications, specifications sheets, and drawings, is managed by the design department, while information needed to sell a product, such as catchy slogans, product descriptions, and product images, is managed by the marketing department.

Information is generated and managed in each department. Specifically, some may manage it individually using Excel, while others may manage it in a department's own system. Ultimately, they need to be managed across the board, and in that case, items managed by other departments are obtained and combined with items managed by their own department. There are also cases where each department does this, resulting in duplicate data being held.
