GET parameters and how to name the navigation buttons

Post by sakibkhan22197 »

As already mentioned, it's important that you DO NOT use GET parameters in the pagination URL. These are simply confusing and make it difficult for website visitors to navigate your website. Another important aspect is that it's not easy to peru phone number data work with "forward" and "back" as button text. Provide your website visitors with button text such as "Page 1, 2, 3,...99" as paginated navigation. This paginated navigation makes orientation much easier for everyone.

What is logarithmic pagination?
If you have so much content that it's piling up, there are several ways to deal with it. You could either increase the number of results on a category page to keep pagination relatively low, or you could use logarithmic pagination. Logarithmic pagination involves bundling pages in the navigation in batches of 1, 10, or even 100. This allows website visitors to navigate more quickly in large batches.

Offer more pages in pagination navigation
Not only website visitors, but also search engines will thank you if you offer a wider selection of subpages in the pagination navigation. Many CMS systems only provide jump options to the first and last two pages. I recommend six to nine options in the pagination navigation.

Pagination navigation with division
Pagination navigation with division

How exactly you divide the pagination navigation depends primarily on the size of the respective category. For categories with little content, it's possible that all pages will be listed in the navigation. However, this isn't a disadvantage. For usability reasons, you can also offer website visitors a dropdown menu that allows them to jump directly to pages not found in the current navigation. I recommend always displaying the first and last two pages in the navigation. The remaining distribution should then be based on a logarithmic method.
