Seth's thesis is that the next decade will be about 'the game layer'. The past decade was the era of social media. 500 million people on Facebook know what that means. Social media is all about making connections. And while social media is still very relevant for now, the next decade will be about gaming, in the form of a game layer that can be applied to all kinds of services.
